will also be distributed to the deserving. In addition, Medalists
(plaque winners) will receive merchandise credits courtesy of GMT
for $20 (1st, $15 (2nd), $10 3rd, and $5 (4th & 5th).

GM with any questions about the tournament.
Tournament Rules
All Advanced Rules will be used. No optional or house rules will be used. The
Official Errata and Clarifications posted on the WNW site at Consimworld
(http://talk.consimworld.com/) will

tolerated. Use of chess clocks is encouraged but optional.
Late Arrivals, Long Games and
Byes
Latecomers will be matched up with other latecomers, but risk not playing in
the event (and are still expected to finish by the ending time set for the
first round.). Latecomers for subsequent rounds will likely be penalized. Time
limits will be strictly enforced to keep the event running on schedule. If
any players disregard the time limit and appropriate warnings, the GM reserves
the right to adjudicate games and, if necessary, to penalize players for slow
play. Byes, if necessary, will be given to the strongest player remaining in
the tournament, based upon a series of tiebreakers which will be announced
prior to the start of the tournament.
