| "The BPA is organized as a Non-Profit Corporation, with its state of incorporation being South Carolina. The BPA came into formal existence on December 8, 1998, when its Articles of Incorporation were accepted for filing by the South Carolina Secretary of State. The BPA was organized by F. Scott Pfeiffer, an attorney practicing corporate law in Greenville, SC, acting as Incorporator. His services were provided pro bono publico. As Incorporator, he elected nine initial Directors. Since then, three of the nine Directors are elected annually by vote of the membership." |
