Trolling for Triple Digits Again ...

The tournament format remains multiple-heat/single elimination. This means that you may play in as many of the four preliminary heats as you wish. Each will consist of as many individual games as necessary to accommodate all comers. 5-player games will be the norm, but I will make adjustments in order to accommodate everyone. For example, if 18 people come to a heat, rather than three 5-player games and one 3-player game, I would set up two 5- and two 4-player games. Basically I will avoid more than six and fewer than four players in any game.

The standard game as well as all optional rules will be used. Pay particular attention to the rule regarding sharing of spoils.

Up to 36 winners will advance to six 6-player semi-final games. If there are more than 36 winners, standard WBC HSW tie-breakers will apply.

Players will again have the choice of playing either Atlantic Storm or Pacific Typhoon. When you arrive to register for the heat(s) let the GM know your preference if any: Atlantic Storm or Pacific Typhoon. Seating will still be done using my tried and true seating mechanism, with tables assigned a specific game based on the number of entries.

It is unlikely, but possible, that in order to have enough players to complete a table of a particular game volunteer(s) may be asked to play the game they did not initially request to play. This will be done on a voluntary basis, but the GM may have to "draft" someone if necessary.

This "play the game you choose" option is only available during the heats and the semi-final round. The Final round will be Atlantic Storm.

Atlantic Storm games will be played using all optional rules. Pacific Typhoon games will be the standard game. The Chronological, Short, or Team variants that are in the rule book are NOT to be used.
