The Moose is Loose!

Building upon the mania of the first six events, this year promises to be bigger and just as silly.

The object—get your moose to the other side.

The format—Class C. The special teaching session will be just before the tournament starts. Really. This is the one game you can play as you learn. For those seeking a head start… practice flicking objects…..

The tournament will be single elimination. Each matchup will be a best two-of-three event. (We don’t want contestants eliminated before the signups are completed.) If you join us for the tournament, you’re in for the duration!

Last year we ran tight on copies of the game. Please bring your own.

Finally, to accomodate the whiners whose Meese can’t jump a crevice or two, we’ve moved the event into Paradise to use the nice and even one-piece tables so your critters don’t fall into the gaps between the two smaller tables some encountered last year.

Elchfest—It’s Finger Flicking Good!

e-mail the GM Dan the Elder will host a Juniors version for those 12 and under Friday at 9 AM in the Heritage room. Two moose face aeach other across a river. Can they get to the other side and keep their feet dry? Players flick the rocks to form a path. Reach the opposite bank first! GM will bring the giant version!
