Return from Pre-Con

The grand experiment of the Recon Pre-Con is over as ASL abandons its trail blazer routes and attempts to carve out a niche in the main con with a brand new format featuring new Eastern Front scenarios and a lessened time commitment.

This year's Champ will complete the ASL portion of WBC in a day and a half.

Round 1 features a brand new, open ended scenario. The top four German players and the four best Russian players from this first scenario then advance to single elimination play in more new, tournament-sized scenarios. The first three scenarios take place Thursday, with the final round Friday morning (or as mutually agreed upon).

No need to bring American, British, Japanese, Italian, French, Chinese, or Minor counters. Just your Eastern Front expertise. Required mapboards will be announced later.

Supplementary Prizes: Multi-Man Publications will supplement the WBC plaques with merchandise credits of $10 per prize level; i.e. $60 for first, $50 for second, $40 for third, $30 for fourth, $20 for fifth, and $10 for sixth.
