The
Boardgame Players Association is looking
for 10 good new games…
Publishers far and wide are invited to
submit their boardgame
products for use in the 10-game demo portion of WBC’s largest Pre-Con, the
Sampler Showcase, scheduled for
July 30-31, 2007, at the Lancaster Host Resort in Lancaster, Pa. Any
boardgame which has not been a tournament at a past WBC is eligible.
The World Boardgaming Championships is unique
in the realm of gaming
conferences…eight continuous days of the best
boardgaming
tournaments on the planet. And this year WBC is
reaching out to
publishers far and wide to introduce their products to
the 1,500
boardgamers who faithfully return to Lancaster,
PA, year after year for
the annual summer convention.
A special two-day Demonstration and Open Gaming
event will allow attendees to sample
10 new games that have the potential to become a
regular tournament staple in the years to come.
You
can have your game
considered as one of these games by sending a copy to
BPA, 1541
Redfield Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015 by June 1, 2007. If
your game is selected as one of those included in the 10-game demo portion
of the Sampler Showcase, you will need to provide four additional copies
for use in the demonstration. Whether
selected or not, the donation will entitle you to free
distribution of
your literature in the WBC registration packet given
to 1,500 attendees
at check-in. For more information, contact the Convention Director Don
Greenwood at doncon99@toad.net.
