BPA plaques will be awarded for each event and best overall individual performance, providing plenty of laurel opportunities for those who want to improve their standings in BPA's annual Caesar competition.

The new main event tournament for 2010 will be Stone Age.  For details, see the tournament preview at http://euroquest.gamesclubofmd.org/EQ_T13.aspx.

The schedule and formats of main event tournaments has been posted at http://euroquest.gamesclubofmd.org/EQ_Schedule.aspx. Please note that the formats of many tournaments has been changed to allow for semifinals without regard to the number of two-game winners.  Decisions on this have been left to the discretion of the GMs, so please check the event preview for specific game(s) in which you are interested.  To view the event formats, go to the main website where it says tournaments to access the drop-down menu which lists the 12 specific main event tournaments and the Wild Card tournament.

Wild Card Event:  Five games have been added to the Wild Card menu. New games for 2010 will be Automobile, Dungeon Lords, Hansa Teutonica and Vasco Da Gama. The "comeback" game, back after a two-year hiatus, is Carcassone. This does not include the "hot New Essen game" that will be named by October 30.  The list of Wild Card games is at
http://euroquest.gamesclubofmd.org/default.aspx. See also http://euroquest.gamesclubofmd.org/EQ_T12.aspx for more details about this unique event. A Hot New Essen game to be named by Oct. 30, 2010
